Qantas Founders Museum
A world-class museum and cultural display, eloquently telling the story of the founding of Qantas through interpretive displays, interactive exhibits, replica aircraft and an impressive collection of genuine artefacts. Join the 90 minute Jet Tour that takes you behind the scenes on our two jet aircraft, the Boeing 747 and 707. Australian Age of Dinosaurs
Australian Age of Dinosaurs Ltd (AAOD) is a not for profit organisation located in Winton, Queensland. The organisation’s activities include operation of the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History which holds annual dinosaur digs in the Winton Formation of western Queensland and oversees the year-round operation of Australia’s most productive dinosaur fossil preparation laboratory.
Drover’s Sunset Cruise
All aboard the Drover‘s Sunset Cruise. Relax on the top deck with 360 degree views of the majestic Thomson River. Cobb & Co Stagecoach Tour
Enjoy a stagecoach ride through Longreach town and then a gallop through the bush along a stretch of the old mail route between Longreach and Windorah. Smithy’s Outback Dinner & Show
Settle back and enjoy an evening to remember dining under the stars beside the Coolibah lined Thomson River. Begin with sunset nibbles followed by a two-course table service dinner, featuring camp oven themed modern cuisine. A good selection of wine and cold beer is available for purchase from their licensed cash bar. Camden Park Country Station Tour
This tour begins with lunch at Cattleman‘s Bar and Grill, Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame before driving a short distance to Camden Park Station. Enjoy an afternoon tea cuppa and queen scones at Camden Park‘s Artesian pools. Meet Outback Dan, fifth generation farmer who will guide you through his family’s historical homestead, cattle yards and shearing shed. Complimentary yarn telling! Starlight’s Cruise Experience
Board the only paddle wheeler west of the Great Divide or the historic Thomson Princess Riverboat and enjoy a gentle cruise down the majestic Thomson. We go ashore for a traditional stockman’s camp-fire dinner, followed by bush poetry with a local outback storyteller. Next, the bush is illuminated by the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Picture Show – capturing the adventures of notorious cattle thief, ‘Captain Starlight’.
Outback Stockman’s Dinner & Show
The live Outback Stockman’s Show is a tribute to the skills of past and present stockmen – a true depiction of the unique quintessential Australian character. The famous daytime shows are Tuesday to Sunday at 11am and our all new night show includes a spit roast dinner, with full bar facilities and is held in the beautiful Cattlemen’s Bar and Grill at the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame.
